bluefish-dbg software package provides advanced Gtk+ text editor (debugging symbols), you can install in your Ubuntu 16.10 (Yakkety Yak) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install bluefish-dbg
bluefish-dbg is installed in your system.
Make ensure the bluefish-dbg package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep bluefish-dbg *
You will get with bluefish-dbg package name, version, architecture and description in a table
